Wine:
Pure and delicate, the 2021 Cariñena Mancuso Garnacha Red opens with notes of spice and floral aromas, complemented by fragrant hints of thyme and pepper. Grown on a 1.5-hectare plot perched at 700 meters altitude, these 50- to 60-year-old vines yield low quantities of richly textured juice with velvety tannins. Fermented with whole clusters and aged in 500-liter barrels, the result is a savoury and elegant wine—exceptionally pure, exquisitely balanced, and highly precise. One of the finest Grenaches in the region, it’s been awarded 95/100 by the Selection Committee and 94/100 by Parker.Vinification:
Hand harvested. 40% whole grapes. Vinification in open stainless steel vats with cold maceration for 24 to 48 hours. Fermentation for 40 days with gentle pumping over. Aged for 12 months, 65% in concrete vats and 35% in 500-liter French oak barrels.Color:
