The estate and the wine |
A rising star in Beaujolais, Guénaël Jambon is playing a key role in the remarkable revival of this historic region. In Morgon—known for producing age-worthy reds—he crafts deep, vibrant, and structured wines, full of energy and substance.
Here, Gamay reaches new heights, rooted in hillsides of granite and schist formed from ancient volcanic rock, which lend these wines their signature complexity and mineral character. |

A stunning expression of Gamay, the 2024 Red Morgon Côte du Py Réserve showcases rich, ripe fruit flavours—think dark cherry and plum—lifted by subtle peppery nuances. This is a pure, vibrant wine with fine-grained tannins, masterfully balanced in structure, power, and freshness, while maintaining a charmingly crisp, juicy character. A true favourite of our Selection Committee, awarded 93/100. |
