The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A Burgundy gem, Domaine Albert Grivault stands as an undisputed reference in the Côte de Beaune. With prized holdings in some of the region’s most prestigious terroirs, the estate elevates every wine with masterful precision. Here, the wines don’t just reflect their appellation—they surpass expectations, often rivaling the finest Grand Crus.

Despite its soaring reputation, the domaine has kept its prices remarkably reasonable, protected from market inflation thanks to its family-owned vineyards. Unsurprisingly, demand far exceeds supply every year, making these bottles all the more coveted.
Wine From a tiny, walled parcel of just one hectare, the 2022 White Meursault 1er Cru Clos des Perrières Monopole is a rare gem born from an exceptionally rocky terroir. Widely regarded as the finest section of Meursault’s greatest Premier Cru, this wine delivers a remarkable white that rivals even the most prestigious Grand Crus. Depth, precision, structure, and complexity—everything comes together in perfect harmony. With its ripe fruit, crystalline energy, and the power of this exceptional terroir, it is nothing short of a benchmark for Meursault at its very best.
Vinification Hand harvested. Monopoly of the estate, plot of 94 ares, 52 centiares, half replanted in 1986 and 1989. Aged in oak barrels, generally one fifth new. Annual production of around 5,000 bottles.
