The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A true symbol of Alsatian excellence, Albert Mann stands among the region’s most esteemed estates, producing biodynamic wines of remarkable precision and finesse.

Led by Jacky Barthelmé and now his son Antoine, who has taken the reins with quiet confidence, the domaine masters both white and red vinification. Here, Alsace’s greatest terroirs are reimagined with a vibrant, emotional clarity—yielding wines of unmistakable identity, balance, and depth. They are pure, digestible, and profoundly expressive—true benchmarks for wine lovers everywhere.

A crowning achievement: Albert Mann recently received Alsace’s first-ever 100-point score from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate for one of its Pinot Noirs—and the rest of the lineup is just as compelling.

With a prestigious 3-star rating from France’s Revue du Vin de France wine guide (RVF, one of the country’s most respected wine publications), Albert Mann unquestionably ranks among the greats.
Wine Born on sun-facing limestone soils, the 2023 Alsace Grand Cru Riesling Furstentum White is a bone-dry wine of striking freshness and clarity. It opens with aromas of white fruits—apple and pear—set against a backdrop of deep, stony minerality. On the palate, it offers impressive volume and texture, delivering a mouth-coating purity and a sense of vertical tension. A lovely saline finish adds lift and elegance. A perfect pairing for cod baked in parchment, grilled spiced lobster, or seared scallops. A Selection Committee favourite, rated 94/100.
Vinification Hand harvested. Whole grape pressing. Spontaneous fermentation. Aged on fine lees.
