Wine:

Shaped by a cool vintage and led by Grenache, the 2021 Red Châteauneuf-du-Pape fully embraces the charm of this approachable year. Expect bright red berry aromas, a hint of cinnamon, and touches of garrigue—all wrapped in a mid-weight, refined structure with juicy, fresh tannins. It’s a beautifully composed Châteauneuf built to age for at least a decade, yet already silky and seductive from the get-go. Vinification:

Hand harvested. Fermentation in traditional concrete vats (80%) and in casks.

Color:

Bright garnet red.

Nose:

Lovely aromas of black fruit, cinnamon and garrigue herbs.

Palate:

A fresh and silky texture supported by an elegant tannic structure. The finish is remarkably persistent, with subtle spicy notes.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Beef sirloin on shallot mashed potatoes, speck and pecorino saltimbocca, chickpea penne and roasted beetroot.
